What this checklist works out for you

Multi-country trips add up small differences: a UK leg means a type G adapter, a US leg means 120 V sockets, and a Europe leg might mean one Schengen visa covering several countries. The tool combines them into a single list:

  • Adapters: the plug types you need, skipping countries where Indian plugs already fit.
  • Voltage: flags 100–120 V countries (USA, Canada, Japan) where single-voltage devices won't work.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need one visa or several for a multi-country trip?

It depends on the countries. A single Schengen visa covers all Schengen countries — you apply to the country where you will spend the most nights, or the one you enter first if stays are equal. Countries outside Schengen, such as the UK, Türkiye or the UAE, each need their own visa or entry approval where required.

Which travel adapter do I need for several countries?

Select every country in the tool and it lists the plug types you need. If more than one type appears, a universal adapter is simpler than carrying several single-country adapters.

Are the visa notes in this checklist legal advice?

No. Entry rules for Indian passport holders change often. The checklist prompts you to confirm requirements with official embassy or government sources before you book.

Do Indian citizens need a visa for Nepal and Bhutan?

No. Indian citizens can visit Nepal and Bhutan without a visa using an accepted ID such as a valid passport or voter ID card. Bhutan issues an entry permit and charges a Sustainable Development Fee; check the current amount before you go.
